“Triple Play Adventure Day”

This combination fun day has been designed for the most active guests in mind! It is also perfect for short vacations over the weekend to make the most out of your stay. Our Triple Play Adventure Day combines our Rainforest Nature Walk Adventure with our Bioluminescent Bay Kayak Adventure in one day and it adds a “criollo” lunch to enhance your cultural/culinary experience along with a relaxing stop at the beautiful Seven Seas Beach. These two natural wonders, are “unique” to Puerto Rico and most of our guests consider them the highlight of their vacation and a must do. Enchanted Island Eco Tours is proud to say that we are the tour operator for both tours offered in this package the only sub-contracted service is the transportation!

Your day will start with a relaxing ride to the top of the National Rain Forest called the El Yunque. After seeing the natural wonders from the bus, you will arrive at our drop point where Enchanted Island Eco Tours guides will start your adventure into the interior of the rainforest. The Nature Walk will start by meeting your two CPR, First Aid certified guides, and here the group will receive pre-walk orientation of the activity that they are about to embark on. After our orientation, the group will sign waiver releases and receive the following:

• One canvas backpack per guest.
• One clean dry towel.
• Snack package with cold bottle of water (water bottle sealed).
(Backpacks, Towels must be returned at the end of the tour).

At this point we will start our walk along a natural trail as we walk into the forest and leave the world behind. The cool fresh air will take over your senses and the sights and sounds of the wind and water will relax your mind. Your guides will be giving interpretation of the natural area and its Flora & Fauna along the walk. As the walk progresses, we will see and hear many beautiful sights and sounds, such as a crystal clear river that flows through the rocks and trees along the walking path. Once we have reached our break point at a fabulous waterfall called La Mina falls, the group will stop and have the opportunity to relax under the majestic canopy of the rainforest as they enjoy snacks and cold water supplied in their backpacks. Here your guides will give you the opportunity to sit in on commentary about La Mina waterfall held shore side, feel the cooling mist, and enjoy photo time to gather your great shots, or just relax to sounds of rushing water passing through the rocks!

After the rainforest tour you will be transfer to a local restaurant, where you will have about 1 hour to enjoy a light buffet set up – one serving per person including:
 Lunch Menu:
*One entrée – choice of two meats
*Green salad
*One 11 onz. soft drink

After lunch you will be transfer to Seven Seas Beach located in the northern east tip of the island and only 5 minutes away from the Bioluminescent Bay tour location. Here you will have about two hours to enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean, sit on the beach, go for a swim, take pictures or just relax before it is time to join us for the Bioluminescent Bay Kayak Adventure. ( Special Note: Your time at the beach is unguided and at your leisure until appointed pick up time - Seven Seas is a Blue Flag beach managed by National Parks of Puerto Rico)

Around 5:00pm you will be transfered to Las Croabas to join the Bioluminescent Bay Kayak Adventure!

The activity will start with waiver orientation and signing, then the lead guide will give each group a complete kayak 101 safety training, which will cover all aspects of the tour and the operation of their kayaks.

Our "Bioluminescent Bay Kayak Adventure" is a must see and by many of our guests a “Once in a Lifetime Experience” as guides lead you through a mangrove lined channel into Laguna Grande where each stroke of your paddle lights up a bioluminescent blue-green and fish of forty different species dart off from under your kayak lighting up like shooting stars as they swim through the thick concentration of dinoflagellate. This along with seven of eight ecosystems found in this area, four species of mangroves, iguanas, abundance of bird life and a historical light house make for an unforgettable evening!
Tour includes:

*All needed kayaks (Doubles).
*Backrests, Paddles and leashes.
*Lifejackets (PFD’s).
*Two to three CPR, First Aid Certified Guides, based on group size.
*All needed lights and safety equipment.
*Commentary of the surrounding area and its Flora and Fauna.
*Snacks – Cookies and cold water all prepackaged and ready for your enjoyment, once back on shore.

At this point your adventurous day will come to a close by the transfer back to your hotel for a relaxing hot shower and sweet dreams!
